1. About Us
These terms govern your use of shopello.co.uk and any purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Shopello Ltd is registered in England & Wales.
2. Orders & Contract
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g. pricing errors, stock unavailability).
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the time of order.
4. Delivery & Lead Times
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are:
- Standard Delivery: 3–5 working days
- Express Delivery: 1–2 working days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed. Whilst we strive to meet these windows, delays can occur due to courier issues, high demand periods, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Many of the products sold on this website are specialist cordless tools and equipment imported from manufacturers based outside the United Kingdom. As such, our supply chain involves international shipping, customs clearance, and third-party logistics providers. The nature of these supply chains means that, on rare occasions, circumstances beyond our reasonable control can cause significant delays that cannot be anticipated at the time of order.
Important — Exceptional Delivery Circumstances: In exceptional cases — including but not limited to international supply chain disruptions, customs or import clearance delays, manufacturer stock shortages, force majeure events, courier network failures, industrial action, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control — Shopello Ltd reserves the right to extend the delivery period to a maximum of 60 working days from the date of order confirmation.
Legal basis: Under Regulation 33(2) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, unless the parties have agreed otherwise, a trader must deliver goods without undue delay and not later than 30 calendar days after the contract is formed. However, the same Regulations expressly permit the trader and consumer to agree on a different delivery timeframe. By placing an order on this website, you — the consumer — agree to the delivery terms set out herein, including the extended fulfilment window of up to 60 working days in exceptional circumstances. This agreement constitutes a variation of the default statutory timeframe permitted under the 2013 Regulations.
Furthermore, under Section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the default rule is that goods must be delivered within a "reasonable time." What constitutes a reasonable time is not fixed and takes into account the nature of the goods, the complexity of the supply chain, and any circumstances affecting delivery. For specialist imported equipment sourced from international manufacturers, a longer delivery period may be reasonable where delays are caused by factors outside the trader's control.
If your order has not been delivered within 60 working days, you are entitled to a full refund. This extended window does not affect your statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (14-day cooling-off period), nor your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding goods of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose.
For clarity: the 60-working-day period is a maximum reserve window for exceptional cases only. The vast majority of orders are delivered well within the standard 3–5 working day timeframe.
5. Returns & Refunds
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. In summary, you have 30 days from receipt to return any item in its original condition for a full refund.
6. Warranty
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. In addition, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product fails within 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund. Within 6 months, we will repair or replace at no cost to you.
7. Liability
Shopello Ltd's liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Shopello Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
